In dedication to my Papa ... Part 1

This does not understand from where to pen down..

Well will start from my infantile days and childhood..

My father was very possessive about me since my birth.. He did not allow my mother to feed me but instead would give me bottle feeding by himself.. He used to carry me everywhere, made me bathe and thereafter would put the dress on me which I used to put hand on. For this he specially made a sack of my clothes. I was pampered a lot by him.

I retain information of my first b’day party at the age of four. Everyone from my family, paternal uncle aunty and neighbors all had arrived to my place and were waiting for me to cut the cake.. But before that I found out that my Windsor biscuit was not there. I cried out loud and asked for that before piecing the cake. And there came up my father and took me to the grocery immediately to buy the Windsor biscuit.. Later we all enjoyed the cake back home and I enjoyed my biscuits!!

I grew 4 and then on my first day to school, I was made to sit in the hackney off to school. I sobbed in the class even persistently. And there I saw my Papa out from the window looking for me. I was sucking thumb and stretched my arms but heck I was not allowed to reach to him!! And just waited until the bell rang and I was in my father’s arms. Above all I would always be grateful to my parents to get our schooling done from Holy Angels’ Convent School where we were literally treated as angels’.

In Hindus, we girls undergo Jaya Parvati Vrat for getting good husband, at a very tender age. Mine started when I was 5. I commit to memory merrily moving round and besides that my mumma was pouring tea in cups for all and warned me even that I will fall and will get burnt.. There I go over the hot tea and got my ass burned!!.. Oh my my!! Immediately I was taken to our family doctor by my parents, my papa carrying me in his arms, running through roads to reach early.. Actually was not getting rickshaw easily for the doctor’s place. After getting the first aid done we came back home and in order to complete the rituals my mother made me open my fast by feeding me lying face down position over her lap.

I can bear in mind one more incidence where my father was giving rotis (Indian bread) to the monkey and I asked to let me even do it once. The moment I took the roti from my father’s hand the monkey grabbed it from my hand and I just got so terrified that I went into delirium. My father got so worried at that time that asked my grandmother to do anything in order that my scariness goes away.

I grew up as a very intellectual girl, always getting A+ or A grades during my schooling. My father was never worried about my scores but did compare it with my cousin sister. Ny ways that never mattered to him much as he had trust on me.

He always had tears in his eyes when we all i.e. my mumma, my siblings and me were leaving for Mumbai during vacations. But apart from being so good he was even very strict daddy. I was beaten up by him lot many times coz I was really very naughty girl at home.

About the main storyline in regards to my increased sensitivity and increased reliantness  on my family after my father, will publish in the next blog.. Till then enjoy reading.

Overcoming Shame

  Not Guilty
Overcoming Shame
Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. But early in the morning he went back to the Temple, and all the people
came to him, and he sat and taught them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in adultery. They forced her to stand before the people. They said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught having sexual relations with a man who is not her husband. The law of Moses commands that we stone to death every woman who does this. What do you say we should do?” They were asking this to trick Jesus so that they could have some charge against him. But Jesus bent over and started writing on the ground with his finger. When they continued to ask Jesus their question, he raised up and said. Anyone here who has never sinned can throw the first stone at her. “Then Jesus bent over again and Wrote on the ground.
Those who heard Jesus began to leave one by one, first the older men and then the others. Jesus was left there alone with the woman standing before him. Jesus raised up again and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one judged you guilty?” She answered, “No one, sir.” Then Jesus said, “1 also don’t judge you guilty. You may go now, but don’t sin anymore.”
